The collection consists of materials provided by Nathan Herschel Bogue, a railway engineer at the O.C& E railway. The collection contains maps, logs, blueprints, photographs, invoices and notebooks. Folder titles include: track laying specs, Bogue Strahorn correspondence, O.C.& E rights of way, payroll, O.C & E labor expenses, and many other materials. Materials date from 1912 to 1928

The collection was donated to the Shaw Historical Library by Lyn Pope, Merrill, Oregon. Lyn is the oldest son of Randall Pope, who bought the farm from Nathan Bogue in late 1960s or early 1970s
