Materials include letters to and from the State Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee; 1960s monthly reports to the Governor; agendas from the Oregon State Highway Commission: 1958-1960; Minutes of the Oregon State Highway Commission Meeting 1961; Oregon State Highway Department news releases (1958-60); "A Study Report on State Park Values of the Howard Prairie Reservoir Site- Jackson County" ; letter with a Summary Report about the expansion needs at Timberline Lodge (01/23/57), letters from the members of the State Parks Advisory Committee (1958); Columbia River Gorge Commission report (01/15/54), Champoeg Memorial State Park report; pamphlets on the Oregon Park System; brochures; memos with cost analysis from the Oregon State Highway division (01/76 & 12/75); statistics on the parks use per year and other materials.

Biographical / Historical
The Collier Memorial State Park/Logging Museum is located in southern Oregon. It is used for recreation, such as hiking, camping, and fishing. The Park was established in 1945, when two brothers Alfred D. and Andrew Collier donated land to the state of Oregon as a memorial to their parents, Charles Morse Collier and Janet McCornack Collier. Collier Memorial State Park contains one of the largest collections of logging equipment in the world. Alfred Collier continued to add to this collection until his death in 1988.
