A folder with assorted materials: a copy of the article "The Legendary Life and Tragic Death of Sonny Jim"; 3 issues of the Malin Historical Society Bulletin; study "Projected Future Conditions in the Klamath Basin of Southern Oregon and Northern California, 2009; 2 wall calendars of 2009 and 2010 of Malin, Oregon, published by the Malin Historical Society. Materials were donated by Steve Kandra.

Biographical / Historical

The city of Malin was founded in 1909 in Klamath County, Oregon. Several Czech emigrant families made the area their home, naming the city after a town in their homeland. The Malin Historical Society is a non-profit organization, founded in 2005. The Society is located in a repurposed building, which is now used as the Malin Museum.
