The collection consists of one binder. It includes Billie Fitzhugh's recollections, poetry and family sayings as well as transcripts of several oral history interviews with her parents and a presentation by her father for the 1985 Pioneer Week celebration at the Baldwin Hotel Museum in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Biographical/Historical note
Billie DeVaul Fitzhugh was born November 13, 1928 to William and Laura DeVaul. Her family lived in Barnes Valley, Oregon from 1928-1936 where they ranched. Billie and her siblings attended Larella Elementary school until transferring to Valley Plance in Langell Valley from 1937-1946. She married Paul Fitzhugh in 1946 and moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon. Billie DeVaul Fitzhugh died on July 18, 2012

Abstract
Billie DeVaul Fitzhugh was the daughter of William and Laura DeVaul. She grew up and spent her life in Barnes Valley, Langell Valley and Klamath Falls, Oregon. The collection consists of her unpublished memoir, "A Short History of the DeVaul Family As I Remember It," with memories from 1928-2003.
