Biographical / Historical
Charles R. Miller was one of the best known photographers in the Mt. Shasta area during the early 1900s, particularly of photographing logging camps. He moved to Klamath Falls in 1909 and started the Miller Post Card Company. He had exclusive rights to scenic photos of Crater Lake around 1913-1915. As automobiles and personal cameras became popular, Miller had to change careers. He ran the Orpheus Theater in Klamath Falls and worked as the manager of White Pine Molding Company until his death in 1934.
