Biographical / Historical
The Klamath Water Users Association (KWUA) is a private, non-profit corporation that has represented farmers and ranchers of the Klamath Reclamation Project since 1953. KWUA’s roots date to the Klamath Reclamation Project’s beginning in 1905. The Klamath Reclamation Project is home to over 1,200 family farms and ranches, encompassing over 170,000 acres of farmland. KWUA’s mission is to preserve and enhance the viability of irrigated agriculture for their members in the Klamath Basin.
