Content Description
Collection consists of a photo album of 51 black and white photographs. Photographs show people, buildings, hotels, schools, athletic teams, bands, transportation, birds and animals in and around Klamath Falls. Comments, names and dates are written on the interleaving paper.

Biographical / Historical
Klamath Falls was founded by George Nurse in 1867, and was originally named Linkville, for the Link River near the town. The name was changed in 1893 to attract logging and milling businesses. Logging became Klamath Falls’ first major industry.
