Biographical / Historical
The Klamath County Fairgrounds and Klamath County Event Center are located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Klamath County Fairgrounds’ mission revolves around the entire Klamath Basin. Hosting community and livestock events from rodeos to weddings, the fairgrounds offer a wide variety of year-round recreational and educational activities. Originally established in 1902 to house the annual Klamath County Fair, the Fairgrounds provide rental facilities for events for the whole year: family functions, public and private meetings, as well as community events. The seven-member Fair Board, appointed by the County Commissioners, is responsible for establishing goals and setting policy. The Fairgrounds Manager, working directly for the Fair Board, serves as the General Manager of the fairgrounds operations.
