Abstract The Klamath Indian Reservation was comprised of the three tribes: Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin, who historically lived in separate areas. The Treaty of 1864 merged all three tribes together into the single “Klamath Tribe” which was then placed on the reservation in the Klamath Basin.
