Abstract
The Klamath Indian Reservation was comprised of the three tribes: Klamath, Modoc, and Yahooskin, who historically lived in separate areas. The Treaty of 1864 merged all three tribes together into the single “Klamath Tribe” which was then placed on the reservation in the Klamath Basin. The archaeological excavation going on the site of the former reservation focused on a small cabin that may have belonged to a local family sometime between 1890 and 1915.
