Abstract
Land (cadastral) surveys accomplished under the U.S. Government's Rectangular Survey System are the basis for the establishment of land titles and boundaries within Oregon. The initial point for the land surveys in Oregon is referred to as the Willamette Stone, and the principle survey meridian is named the Willamette Meridian. Collection contains a set of copies of nine township maps in Southern Oregon: Willamette Meridian.

Abstract
Charles E. Worden was born in Medina County, Ohio in 1849 and died in Portland, Oregon in 1923. Major Worden served as the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Allotting and Special Agent of the Klamath Reservation at Klamath Agency, Oregon. The collection includes a Klamath Indian Allotment Census for the Klamath Tribes and a register of persons living in Yainax Agency area.
