Collection consists of a bound notebook with handwritten and typed text. Notes cover the creation of the regional newspapers, such as Star, Express, Evening Herald, Republican, Daily News, Bonanza Bulletin, Windlass, and Herald and News. Included are excerpts from: "Newspaper History of Klamath County" by "History of Central Oregon", 1905, pp. 1068-70; articles by J.P. Pigney, editor of the Newspaper Yesterday's Supplement of the News and Herald, Jan. 30, 1937; and photographs of newspaper pages.
