Biographical / Historical
Donald Henry Nabakowski was born in 1913 and moved to Klamath Falls in 1925, settling in Algoma where he worked at the mill. When the mill closed, he worked at Ewauna Box Company and later at Klamath Ice and Cold Storage. He was an operator at Klamath Cold Storage and eventually became Chief Engineer and later Plant Superintendent before retiring in 1978. Klamath Ice and Cold Storage was founded by Andrew McCornack Collier in 1918.
