Abstract
“Harper's Weekly, Journal of Civilization” was an American political magazine based in New York City. It was published by Harper & Brothers from 1857 until 1916. During the Modoc War (1872-1873) the magazine published articles and illustrations to give its readers a view of the war. Collection consists of an illustration from Harper's Weekly magazine from the June 28, 1873 issue, depicting Captain Jack, the leader of the Modocs Tribe, shooting at General Canby during peace negotiations.

Throughout his professional life Robert Ballard “Bob” Kennedy was actively involved in the logging industry. Robert Kennedy married Theresa Florence “Terry” Sears in 1942 while they were both attending college. She was involved with 4-H and the YMCA. Collection contains a DVD with the March 2006 interview of Robert and Terry Kennedy.

Abstract
In 1942, shortly after Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066 with the intention of preventing espionage. The result was forced relocation and incarceration of 110,000 to 120,000 people of Japanese ancestry in the western part of the country. Collection consists of a black and white photograph on the subject of the Japanese WWII Relocation.
